I'm Captain Albert Soliz, owner of OBT Charters and a proud U.S. military veteran with over 15 years of fishing experience along the Texas Gulf Coast. Fishing has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I love sharing that passion with others while creating unforgettable days on the water.
Whether you're chasing your first redfish, looking for a trophy trout, or simply wanting to spend quality time with family and friends, my goal is to make every trip safe, fun, and memorable. I welcome anglers of all experience levels and work hard to make sure everyone leaves with great memories—and hopefully a cooler full of fish!

What should I bring on the trip?
Bring sunscreen, a hat, comfortable clothing, and your preferred drinks or snacks.
Do you provide fishing gear?
Yes. Rods, reels, bait, and tackle are included on most charter packages. You are able to bring your own gear just notify me beforehand.
Can beginners join?
Absolutely. All experience levels are welcome, and the captain will help you get setup.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, you will need a valid fishing license to participate in the charter. Licenses can be obtained from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
Are kids welcome?
Yes, kids are very welcome! They have to be 6 years old. We have experience with children and make sure they have a great time.
